Although she mostly eats, sleeps, and dirties the occasional diaper, Waverly is already showing some of her personality. Here's what I've learned about her so far:
1. She LOVES to be cuddled and warm but DOES NOT like to be swaddled too tightly. It really ticks her off, especially if you tuck her arms in.
2. She squeaks, but only once at any given time.
3. Her favorite napping spot is belly down on mine or Chandler's chest.
4. Want her to go to sleep? Put her in her carseat and walk to the car. Want her to go into a coma-like sleep? Drive.
5. She likes to be moving whether it's on her own or someone or something moving her.
6. She sleeps with her hands by her face, regardless.
7. She doesn't like to be licked; however, Fenway's slow to catch on.
8. Before she squalls, she makes the face for a few seconds, then the noise comes out. Sometimes she makes the face just for fun.
9. She's not easily startled, not even when I've accidentally poked her in the eye.
I think Waverly's gonna be a stubborn one, maybe a bit strong-willed. She'll know what she wants and will protest if necessary. She'll be cuddly though and probably funny. I savor these days right now when she doesn't do a whole lot, but I'm very excited about the days when she interacts with the world around her.
